- Current JIMS/JEFS case IDs use a one-digit circuit, one-character court indicator, two-letter case type, two-digit year, and up-to-seven-digit sequence. Very old migrated cases may instead require a 12-character compact ID with circuit and leading zeroes.
Basic online case information is free. Downloadable documents cost $3.00 per document or $0.10 per page, whichever is greater; document subscriptions are $125 per quarter or $500 per year.
